Isabel Werner joined the University of Denver in June 2013. As a Director of Development for the Lamont School of Music, the Newman Center for the Performing Arts and the Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, Isabel manages fundraising efforts supporting the liberal and performing arts at the University. As a graduate of a liberal arts college, Isabel understands intimately the value of a liberal arts education and is thrilled to be helping donors support those divisions.
Prior to joining the University of Denver, Isabel served as the Senior Campaign Manager for School & Youth programs at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In that role, she grew the school-based annual giving program from 300 to more than 700 participating schools annually while raising more than $500,000 in her final season at LLS. She began her development career at Denver Botanic Gardens as the Development Coordinator overseeing all aspects of a successful $80 million capital campaign.
She is a graduate of Colorado College with a Bachelor of Arts in History and grew up in Telluride, CO. She and her fiancé Adam are looking forward to their June 2014 wedding in Telluride.
