What is the John Evans Society?
The John Evans Society is a lifetime giving society with membership granted to those donors who have made gifts to the University of Denver totaling $100,000 to $999,999. This society grants its members benefits such as invitations to DU events and various personal communications. Through the gifts made by members of the John Evans Society:
- The Academic Commons at Penrose Library will be a state-of-the-art, 21st century research facility bringing DU into the future of higher education.
- Students from all over the country are provided with financial aid in the form of endowed scholarships.
- Esteemed faculty members are granted the academic freedom to push themselves and educate students through faculty chairs and professorships.
These examples are but a small sampling of the impact that a member of the John Evans Society can make with lifetime gifts to DU.
