2013 Scholarship Receptions

At the scholarship receptions that are held each spring, students have an opportunity to spend time with their scholarship donors and thank them personally for their generosity. Scholarship recipients send a handwritten note of thanks to their donors in the fall and anticipate meeting them in person at these receptions. Each reception focuses on an academic field with the students, faculty, and donors to that field in attendance. During the evening, an outstanding student is given the opportunity to address the donors and students and to tell about how the scholarship has affected his or her time at DU.
