The Brand serves as a guide for every member of the DU community. It speaks to our history, our present and our aspirations for the future. It reminds us of who we are, what we value and who we hope to become.
Our identity is encapsulated in two powerful words: Pioneering Excellence. What does that mean? At DU, it means that we create the conditions for empowering greatness in every member of our community.
We define our success by how vigorously we embody our four primary attributes.
Excellence, Innovation, Integrity, Engagement.
These attributes also guide our planning and long-term thinking. When the University envisions the future, it does so by asking: How can we ensure and nurture excellence? In what ways can we foster engagement? What and how can we do better? Are our decisions ethical? Fair? Are they grounded in integrity?
