Connor started attending the Columbine Bridge Project programs in the winter of 2014, participated in Miracles on Ice and Summer Program. Connor is ten years old, in fourth grade at Valverde Elementary. Connor likes to play video games and study. At Bridge he likes to participate in 2nd Stem, computer class and his favorite teach is Mrs. Jackie. Field trips and sports are fun activities for him during the summer months. Connor is waiting to grow up before he chooses what he wants for a career but currently he enjoys reading adventure stories and sharing his ideas. He says “Bridge is a nice place to work and do homework.”

Khadija is 8 ½ years old and has been coming to Bridge for as long as she can remember. She is in third grade and loves to play soccer for PE. She has two brothers and four sisters. Her cousins are her favorite people, good thing since she says she has a lot of them. She likes the classes at Bridge because the teachers let her play and have free time. She has been learning about not being a bully and that is important to her. She has a tutor who is helping her learn to read. Khadija wants to be a teacher when she grows up.
Farhiya is new to the Quigg family. She's in 3rd grade and loves to read. At Bridge, she enjoys science and learning about new websites in computers class. She wants to be a doctor when she grows up.
Sarah says that her mother first signed her up to be part of the after-school program at Westwood when she was four years old. Her family was originally from Burma. Sarah likes Computers and her favorite activity is doing GR8 Readers with her tutor. Since last year, Sarah has taken home a total of four books! Sarah wants to be a scientist when she grows up.
