Love Heels
"Love Heels" focuses on two very different individuals who perform in drag shows around Denver.
Santiago Lopez is a high school principal at the LifeSkills center in downtown Denver. He is an active member in the GLBT community and believes that education is one of the major stops on the road to equality and acceptance.
Sue Anne Michaels is transgender. She has overcome many obstacles throughout her transition and wants to share her story in the hopes that it will educate others about the transgender community.
When Sue Anne and Santiago perform at drag shows, they are not concerned with gender or sexuality. The drag shows are a place where people with the goal of raising money for charity can come together to make their dreams and the dreams of those in need a reality.
