1. What is the APR?
An Academic Progress Report (APR) will give you a synopsis of your
completion of major and minor requirements, University (general education)
requirements, and electives. Students can access and print their APR
through webCentral: http://webcentral.du.edu.
2. If something is incorrect on
my APR, where do I go to correct it?
To make APR changes for classes concerning a major or minor, see
your major or minor department. To make APR changes for Foundation
(University Requirements) classes see Academic Advising for a list
of contact information.
3. How do I declare a major or change my major?
- Declaring a Major, You can download the form from http://www.du.edu/registrar/forms/index.html; a signature
from your new major department is required. (See reception area
in the major department).
- Changing a Major, do the
same thing (fill out a “Change of Major” form), but this
time a signature from the old and new department is required. (See
reception area in the major department)
- Adding a second Major, do the same thing
(fill out a “Change of Major” form), a signature from
your new major department is required. (See reception area in
the major department)

The fastest and easiest way to declare or change a minor is to fill
out the online form at www.du.edu/registrar;
however, you could also declare or change a minor by going to the
Registrar’s office.
5. How do I go about auditing
a class (no credit class)?
Auditing privileges are available only to full-time students (those
enrolled in 12 or more quarter hours) who have the approval of the
course instructor. Auditing privileges are not available for Daniels
College of Business courses. No tuition is charged, and no record
of the course is made. A student does not officially register for
a course.
6. How can I drop or add
a class?
- Courses may be dropped and added any time during the first week
without penalties and a full refund.
- Courses may be added during the second week of a quarter with
the instructor’s signature.
- Courses added during the second week of the quarter and anytime
after require approval from the instructor and Academic Advising.
- Courses dropped through the first week of a quarter will be deleted
from the student’s record. A non-punitive grade of “W”
is assigned for courses officially dropped after the first week
of the quarter. A course may be dropped without instructor’s
approval through the published date for “automatic W”
(generally the end of the sixth week of the quarter). After the
sixth week of the quarter, instructor and Academic Advising approvals
are required to drop a course.

“Add/drop Slip” from Academic Advising or the Registrar's
Office.)
