International Student Advising

Academic Advising

The University of Denver has more than 750 international students from over 90 different countries. For many of these students, studying in the United States is both a new and challenging experience. As can be expected, some students may need assistance with the adjustments necessary for academic success at a U.S. university.

Undergraduate international students are encouraged to seek academic advising from their faculty and First-Year Seminar/Mentoring advisers. However, if students have questions about Core courses, transfer credit, choosing a major, English language placement, or any area of special concern to international students, they may contact Zawdie Ekundayo for assistance.

Writing Support

There are several resources available on campus to assist international students with their writing. Proofreading and editing are not offered by any program.
