    Amy Humble of Good to Great It's time to go beyond the basics. In this interactive, action-oriented dialogue, Amy shares the secrets she's learned from entrepreneurs, successful professionals and other experts on what it really takes to find and win the job of your dreams.

    Students will leave this session with increased confidence and a 3-step checklist to keep them on track to score in the job hunt.

    • SESSION 1. Turning your Passion into a Career
      It's time to throw conventional career paths to the wind! But how do you find your passion and turn it into a career that is actually gainful? The director of marketing and the co-founder of Active Junky will discuss how you can find your calling and turn it into a meaningful and profitable employment path—entrepreneurship and alternative career paths.

    • SESSION 2. Your 30-Second Commercial: How to Present Yourself to an Employer (an interactive workshop with University Career Center staff)
  • 5:50 - 6:30 p.m.—employer panel with representatives from National CineMedia, Colorado Non-Profit Association, The Colorado State Department and Northwestern Mutual.
  • 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.—networking and appetizers with alumni and employers; more than 15 additional volunteers from various industries will join us for this portion to share their advice about their fields, and any job or internship opportunities at their organizations.
