Phipps Catering

With more than 20 years in the production of fine events, Phipps Catering stands ready to assist you or your organization in the development, planning and production of that specific "event to remember." We specialize in wedding receptions, corporation celebrations, holiday celebrations and family event celebrations or rememberances.

We have been the in-house caterer at the Phipps Conference Center for the past two decades serving a wide variety of clients.

Buffet

Full service catering extends well beyond the concept of excellent food to the presentation of an event that is remembered for a lifetime.

Our experience allows us flexibility in menu planning and the desire to serve you and make your event successful.

We have many popular menu selections; however, we stand ready to custom design a menu of your choice. Our all inclusive buffet includes china, flatware, glassware, linen, bar set ups, labor, service charge and tax included in the price, unless otherwise noted.

We also stand ready to assist you in selecting choices, recommending quantities and suggesting where to purchase your alcoholic beverages. If you should have a need for valet parking, florist, photographer, musicians or other entertainment we can assist your in these areas as well.

Our staff is very experienced, some of them have been with us since we opened our doors.

Phipps Catering and the Division of University Events welcomes Pedro Mendez as the new Director of Catering.

Gregory Hencmann, Manager of Phipps Catering, has spent 30 years in the customer service business. Completing six years with Phipps Catering, Greg has brought his skills from the hotel and restaurant industry to the specialized catering arena. He believes that the client deserves the "best" that is available at all times and as such, Greg maintains relationships with vendors that are capable of providing all of the ancillary products and services required for a successful event. His extensive knowledge of food, as well as his experience in event timing allow you to rely upon Phipps Catering to maximize the contracted time you have for an event. The result of this experience is an event that is satisfying to not only the client, but the guests that are able to celebrate the various occasions that are served.
