Q: I’m not a business student. Is C&E
right for me?
A: Don’t worry. You don’t have to be in business school to
enjoy and benefit from C&E. If you have any interest in starting your
own company, C&E will help you with that pursuit. If you
don’t want a business of your own, the C&E experience is a great
way to decide if you enjoy working with new, start-up businesses or if
you’d rather work for more established firms.
Q: Will C&E
teach me how to be creative?
A: We believe everyone is creative — C&E will help you unleash
your potential. Throughout the academic year, you’ll
take several mini-courses that will help you understand the creative
process and enhance your ability to use creativity in many different
situations.
Q: I want
to start my own business. How will being in C&E help?
A: C&E will teach you to hone your business skills, lead and participate
on teams, and develop effective creative problem-solving techniques. In
addition, C&E will give you unprecedented access to business
owners in the local community and give you an opportunity to help guide a company from
conception to development. These skills and experiences are essential
if you
plan
to
start your own company.
