Opportunities

As a member of the C&E community, you will:

•Work closely with faculty from many different departments, each of whom brings a new perspective on increasing your creativity and preparing to start a business.

• Work with other C&E students on team projects that will take you out of the classroom and into the real world.

Programs

As a part of CELLC you have many opportunities to be involved in exciting programs to enhance your experience, in the classroom, and as part of the community.

CELLC takes one retreat each quarter! This Fall we went to The Nature Place, in Florissant, CO for an overnight adventure. We participated in a low and high ropes course, and orienteering. The retreat taught us how to work as a team, and problem solve together. http://www.thenatureplace.net/

For our winter retreat we piled in the van to Boulder canyon, and went ice climbing, with the Bob Culp Climbing School. The retreat tested our limits and furthered the sense of community on the floor. www.bobculp.com

CE also goes sailing on Cherry Creek Reservoir in the Fall and again in the Spring. The experience teaches us how to work as a team to stay a float!

For our spring retreat we went to Skyventure for some amazing indoor skydiving!

There are many other programs offered throughout the year. We attend the Startup Junkie Underground, at The Davinci Institute, which helps us learn about business from real-life entrepreneurs. http://www.davinciinstitute.com/. As a group we have also gone to the opera, toured Coors brewery, invesco field, the Denver Art Museum, and community dinners to name a few.
