Family Photo Contest winners Anna, Fran and Jeremy Benjamin Simon

Anna is a faculty member in the Department of Biological Sciences at DU. In 2003 she was hired in a joint position between DU and the Denver Botanical Gardens (DBG) where she is Director of Research. She and her partner, Fran, were "married" (no legal status yet available) in a religious ceremony at DBG in 2005. Their son, Jeremy, was born July 3, 2007. As a family, they enjoy frequent travel to see Jeremy's many grandparents, aunts, and uncles; hiking and biking; attending outdoor concerts; and visiting with friends. They love living in Denver.
