Cogito.org was developed in partnership with John Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth for and about exceptional students between the ages of 8 and 18 who have an interest in math and science. The site offers many math/science resources, and provides members access to an online community, forums in which members have an opportunity to participate in conversations with experts in their fields worldwide who also share excitement about math and science.Blogs, student columns, articles, and program information are all included in Cogito, which includes more than 3500 students spanning 45 countries across the globe.

The STEM Scholars Symposium was held on December 15th, 2007, at the University of Denver. Hosted by CITY, this event included over 50 students in grades 8-12 who are interested in pursuing STEM fields as a career. Professionals in nanotechnology, physics, space technology and materials, astronomy, wastewater engineering, environmental engineering, medical equipment, veterinary science, and architecture, among others, offered presentations on their work and research.
