The CITY Experience is an opportunity for students in grades 1-8 to participate in different cultural options in the metropolitan area facilitated by a high-interest adult guide. Students show up at the monthly event at the assigned time and joing their guide for tours, educational experiences, a performance, or other fun activities as the guide leads them through the exhibition or experience using educational "signposts". All materials are included and fees vary according to the event. The CITY Experience usually is offered on weekends 1-2 times a month with varying age levels and times.
Previous events have included: Denver Performing Arts Complex, Winter Park Resort and Ski Train, and Coors Field. Look for trips to the Denver Art Museum and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in the coming months!
