Fred Zadek Salomon
He arrived in Auraria in 1859 and became manager of the first mercantile company in Colorado. He served as a Denver City Councilman and Treasurer of Denver and was a founder of the Chamber of Commerce in 1860.

Hyman Salomon
A brother of Fred, he was instrumental in bringing supplies to the South Park mining district located near Fairplay.

Charles M. Schayer
In 1865 he came with his wife to Denver City in Colorado Territory. He was a distributor of wine and liquor to saloons in Cripple Creek, Leadville, Aspen and surrounding communities.

Dr. Charles Spivak
A major force behind the Jewish Consumptive’s Relief Society, which opened its doors in 1904. He worked as the medical advisor to the Society, and the area where the JCRS hospital was located was offically named Spivak City.

Benjamin Wisebart
He was a partner with Abraham Jacobs in the Central City grocery store. He was elected mayor of Central City in 18
