On June 22-25, the Center for Judaic Studies and the Department of Philosophy successfully hosted 15 medieval Jewish, Christian, and Muslim philosophy scholars at Philosophy in the Abrahamic Traditions. Prof. Sarah Pessin presented "Illuminated Shadows: Emanation Meets First Matter in Isaac Israeli and Ibn Gabirol."

In conjunction with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and award-winning local educator Carrie Olson, CJS and the Holocaust Awareness Institute are proud to cohost the Belfer Next Step conference at DU from June 28-30, a regional gathering of middle- and high-school Holocaust educators.
