Joint Council
Joint Council is a representative body of campus student organizations involved in and dedicated to promoting diversity, Inclusive Excellence, and/or social justice. The Center for Multicultural Excellence (CME) provides the structure and facilitation for the Council, with the goal of increased communication, outreach, and accountability among member organizations.
The Council meets monthly each quarter and provides a platform for collaborating on events and issues, avoiding programmatic competition, addressing campus climate concerns, and providing organizational development opportunities. Representatives are student leaders selected by their affiliated organization.
