The Think Tank for Equity is a body of practitioners, scholars, policy makers and community members engaged in critical inquiry aimed at transformative action; harnessing experience and knowledge to realize educational equity in Colorado.
During the 2011-2012 academic year, the Chief Diversity Officers at thirteen institutions of higher education in Colorado began meeting with the purpose of collaborating to better meet the needs of the diverse faculty, staff, students, and local communities represented by their colleges and universities.

9-10:45AM: Welcome & Introductions; Opening Panel – Current Access Challenges in Colorado
11AM-12:30PM: Breakout sessions
12:30-2PM: Lunch & Panel – The Role of Foundations in Post-secondary Access and Success
2-2:30PM: Break
2:30-4:30PM: Working Sessions & Workshops
4:45-5:45PM: Presentations from Working Groups (Dr Pedro Noguera, Peter L Agnew Professor of Education at New York University, and DU Diversity Summit keynote speaker, will join us)
6-7PM: Reception – Think Tank and DU Diversity Summit combined event
7-8:30PM: DU Diversity Summit Keynote address
