For your convenience, DU reserves parking and seating for guests with disabilities:
Summer Commencement accommodations
-
Parking: Please park in lot 304 (aka Cherrington Hall/Mary Reed Hourly lot), just south of the Mary Reed Building.
If you're driving a guest who has difficulty walking, you may enter Warren Circle (aka, Daniel L. Ritchie Memorial Way) from University Boulevard and drop off your guest at that location.
This convenience is only for guests with disabilities. - Seating: All Commencement seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Interpreters: We urge guests with hearing impairment to sit toward the northeast side of the Commencement stage, where our interpreters will present the ceremony in sign language.
- Large-print programs: We'll provide programs in larger print for those with low vision.
Accommodations for spring ceremonies
During our spring ceremonies, which will be held in Magness Arena (inside the Ritchie Center), we'll use the circular driveway within lot 311 as a drop-off location for guests with disabilities.
We also set aside accessible seating within the Arena. If you need a wheelchair, visit our wheelchair rental page for recommended vendors.
