Due to an increase in the number of graduating seniors, tickets will be required for guests attending the Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony. (Tickets will not be required for the Sturm College of Law and Graduate ceremonies.)
To obtain tickets for their guests, students needed to log on to WebCentral by March 14 to confirm their attendance for the June 7 ceremony and request tickets.
The Registrar’s Office notified students on April 1 by e-mail of how many tickets they will receive.
Students must pick up their guest tickets when they rent their cap and gown. Cap and gown rental will be in Hamilton Gymnasium on Tuesday, June 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday, June 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tickets not picked up at cap and gown rental will be made available to other guests. Tickets are not required for graduates participating in the ceremony.
Additional tickets are not available.
Guest tickets are the property of the University of Denver. Any unused tickets must be returned to the Registrar's Office and may not be sold.
If Magness Arena does not reach its allotted capacity per the Denver Fire Department, we will allow guests without tickets to enter the Arena on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Guests wishing to enter the Arena, but who do not have tickets, must line up outside at the North Ritchie Center Ticket Office. If and when the Denver Fire Department determines that space is available in the Arena, we will allow guests to enter on a space-available basis.
Family members and friends who don't have tickets will also be able to watch the Undergraduate Ceremony live via online video streaming. They will also be able to watch video of the ceremony on demand on the Commencement Web site within a few days of the ceremony, and can order a DVD or VHS tape of the ceremony.
