We invite applications for a full-time instructor position to begin Fall 2007. A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related area is preferred, but candidates with an MS degree and relevant experience will also be considered. The candidate must demonstrate ability in teaching a broad range of Computer Science courses. The department is particularly interested in a candidate who can teach in the following areas: software engineering; entertainment computing, interactive simulations and games; and lower division programming courses for majors and non-majors. The successful candidate is also expected to teach in our professional graduate programs, and to participate fully in the department through excellent teaching and dedicated service.
The Computer Science Department is part of the School of Engineering and Computer Science (SECS) at the University of Denver.
