You will treat us as friends and as professionals. You will stay in communication
with your parents about your classes, your grades, your social life, your
health, and your participation in LEP.
Mutual Respect
- If you are going to miss a meeting, please call or email in advance so that your counselor can plan for that time and possibly allow another student to come in.
- If you miss three meetings in a row, you have forfeited your standing appointment time,and the counselor may allow another student to take that time.
- Be on time to your appointments. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your counselor may allow another student to use your time or may choose to use your time for other projects.
- Come prepared for your appointments. Please think about how you want to spend your time with your counselor in advance and bring your assignment, your laptop, and your notes or draft.
- Reschedule your appointment if you’re sick. In the close quarters of an office, it’s very easy for your counselor to catch what you’ve got.
- If you have a problem with your counselor, please talk with him or her.
- It is your responsibility to turn in an Extended-Time Testing Accommodation Form 7 days in advance of each of your exams. Your lack of planning is not our crisis.Please notify Jean of any changes to your exam: jwittels@du.edu, x4311
- Please respond to phone calls, and it is your responsibility to use your DU email account.
- Turn in requests
for books on tape in advance of courses beginning.
At the end of each quarter, please remember to return any tapes you used.
