To meet the needs of students enrolled in various degree programs, the LEP offers discipline-specific tutorial support in addition to the services of the academic counselor. The tutorial staff of the LEP includes adjunct faculty, graduate students, and upper-division students who have demonstrated a solid mastery of their discipline. Students needing discipline-specific tutoring should speak with their LEP counselors. The LEP tutoring program is on-site, with tutors scheduled to be available during the day, evenings, and weekends. Students are also encouraged to use the academic support offered through the class, including professors’ office hours, course teaching assistants, and review sessions.
