The University of Denver Health and Counseling Center provides general medical care, individual couples and group counseling, referral services, consultation, crisis intervention, psychological testing, immunizations, lab tests, discounted medication and birth control, tobacco cessation, and same day appointments. The HCC is staffed by, doctors, psychologists, physicians, health educators, nurse practitioners, clinical medical assistants, and counselors and maintains strict standards of confidentiality.

The Gender Violence Education and Support Services Office can provide education, training, support services, and resource referrals. The mission is to provide safe and confidential resources, assistance to survivors of gender violence, sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, etc. educate the campus community on gender violence and its effects, provide primary prevention initiatives, and enhance the experience of all students, staff, and faculty in conjunction with the University of Denver's mission and Student Life Division's mission.

The Department of Housing and Residential Education helps place students in learning environments that promote focuses on academics, student evolvement in the University, and a community environment among the students. The Department for Housing and Residential Education provides information about rooming assignments, important housing dates, and policies. Residence assistants are students who are there to help with any conflicts or concerns in the residence halls. This department can also assist in joining housing groups, finding housing related job opportunities, and joining theme floors and living learning communities.

The Center for Academic Advising recognizes that both new and continuing students may face challenges at the University of Denver. The center staff is designed to help with any type of academic assistance that students may need. There are also advisors who can help assisting develop strategies to improve their academic success. The most common types of academic help provided include, general major/minor advising, tutoring, academic success workshops, multicultural and international student advising, and peer advising.

The University of Denver Department of Recreation focuses on the health and welfare of the students by offering over 13 intramural sports over 29 club sports and 5 adult sports leagues. There are over 40 weekly classes offered that any student can participate in at little to no cost. The recreation department also gives students access to personal trainers. The Ritchie Center holds Denver's only Olympic-Sized swimming pool, an ice-skating rink called Joy Burns Area in addition to the Coors Fitness Center that was voted Denver Post's Top of the Rocky Award for Best Recreation Center in 2007.
University Disability Services

The University of Denver has two programs that provide support for students with disabilities. The Disability Services Program (DSP) is a no-cost program that facilitates delivery of basic accommodations to undergraduate students with documented disabilities. The Learning Effectiveness Program (LEP) is a fee-for-service academic support program for students with various learning disabilities. These two programs exist under the administrative umbrella of University Disability Services (UDS).
