Post-Doctoral Fellowship

The postdoctoral fellow is a year-long position that begins in August of each academic year. This position works within an integrated care model including:

  • primary care
  • mental health
  • Center for Advocacy, Prevention and Empowerment (CAPE)
  • Health Promotion in the Health and Counseling Center
The postdoctoral fellow provides direct counseling/psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and outreach/prevention services to DU students, faculty, and staff. Supervision responsibilities include co-leading group supervision for dotoral-level practicum students, and the fellow also leads groups and conducts workshop as needed. This position assists with the development and implementation of multicultural initiatives.

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position with medical insurance. The postdoctoral fellow reports to the Assistant Director/Training Director and is supervised by a licensed clinical psychologist. This position is responsible for participating in occasional after-hours outreach and crisis support services.
