Colleges Against Cancer

Through the American Cancer Society’s Colleges Against Cancer (CAC) program, DU has created a Chapter here on campus!

The CAC program allows college students, faculty, and staff to work together to bring American Cancer Society programs and services to the DU campus.

Our chapter is part of a network of more than 50 other colleges and universities nationwide.  These chapters share ideas and inspiration through phone calls, regular emails, and a monthly newsletter.

Here are some ways our chapter makes a difference:

  • Promoting the Great American Smokeout, breast cancer awareness, sun safety and healthy lifestyle choices within our campus.
  • By participating and hosting a Relay for Life here on campus.
  • By inviting cancer survivors to participate in Relay and sending survivors holiday cards.
  • And much more!
