Mentoring

The Health and Counseling Center is staffed by health and mental health care professionals who would enjoy mentoring students interested in a career in health care. We have physicians, psychologists, physician assistants, registered nurses, health care administrators, and health promotion experts who can assist students in their choice of a health care profession, tell students what it's like to be in that field, and inform them about requirements, qualifications, training, etc.

In addition, we can provide opportunities for students to shadow a physician or other health care professional. Please make use of our knowledge and experience and contact us at carrie.best@hcc.du.edu to arrange a meeting with one of our providers.
