Medical Services
Pharmacy
The Health and Counseling Center dispenses on site a limited variety of discounted birth control and other prescription medications. These medications are only dispensed to patients/clients who make an appointment with a provider at the Health and Counseling Center.
Any prescription medications that we do not carry in our inventory can be filled at a local pharmacy.
Prescription Refills
For prescription refills, call 303.871.4199 and follow the instructions outlined below.
Note: Some refills will require follow-up visits with your provider based upon your condition and/or the type of medication you have been prescribed. Your provider will discuss those guidelines with you.
When you call for a refill, please leave the following information:
- Name
- Student ID
- Phone number where you can be reached
- Name of medication
- Amount of pills or months requested
- Dosage, (if appropriate)
- Pharmacy phone number—if picking up at outside pharmacy
- Any other information you feel would be helpful to ensure proper filling of your prescription
You will NOT receive a call unless there is a question regarding your request. If you do not hear from us, you can assume your prescription will be ready 48 hours from the time you leave your request.
In the event of an urgent need for a refill or new medication, please leave that information with your recorded message.
Medications refilled from our on site inventory or written prescriptions for an outside pharmacy will be available for pick-up at the front desk of the Health & Counseling Center, 3rd Floor, Ritchie Center, north side, between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday through Friday. We are also open on Saturdays from 9:00am until 1:00pm during fall, winter, and spring quarters.
If your refill request is for birth control medications and you are requesting more than 4 months of refills, please allow one week for the refill to be processed.
We're happy to provide this service. Call us if you have questions.
