About the topic

The issues of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) are becoming more prominent for college and universities due to increasing enrollments of war veterans. Examining these issues serves as a starting point for discussion on the borader concern of student distress, depression, threatening behavior, and the campus/community response to these issues. Montana State University Billings Student Health Services administered an enhanced National College Health Assessment (NCHA) and co-sponsored with Montana State University Northern's Veteran's Upward Bound to address these issues. This presentation will highlight key findings and points from these endeavors.
