Apply for Admission

Please submit an online application. Click on "Apply for Admission" and select your degree (PhD), college (Joint PhD Program), major (Religious and Theological Studies) and concentration. If more than one, or a combination of concentrations is desired, please choose your primary concentration on the application and clearly state your interests in the personal essay. International students, please see additional instructions.

Since applications are reviewed one time per year, the online application will only be available August 1st through January 1st. Applications will be reviewed beginning January 1st so please make sure your completed application and all supplemental materials have been received by that date.  Notification letters will be mailed to applicants the beginning of March. Financial aid award letters will be sent to admitted students in April.

A printable confirmation page will appear after successful submission. Please keep a copy of your confirmation page for your records. You will not be able to access your application after it is submitted, however you will be able to check your application status upon submission by logging back into the application. Please note: It will take at least one business day for information to appear in the online status of your application after it has been submitted or uploaded.
