Faculty

All faculty hold doctoral degrees from accredited graduate programs and have pursued studies and published significantly in subjects directly relevant to their academic work in the Joint Ph.D. Program. To be listed as Concentration Faculty a faculty member must be willing to serve on Advisory Committees, teach seminars or courses relevant to the subject matter of the Concentration, and demonstrate research and publishing accomplishments related to the field. Because of the flexibility and interdisciplinary nature of the Program, many faculty are listed in more than one Concentration. Although the listed faculty comprise the primary faculty pool of the Joint Ph.D. Program, students regularly take courses from other faculty at the two co-sponsoring institutions. Put another way, the faculty resources of the Joint Ph.D. Program are even more substantial than the extensive list of faculty members cited would suggest.
