The University of Denver

The University of Denver, the oldest independent university in the Rocky Mountain region, enrolls approximately 10,850 students in its undergraduate and graduate programs. The Carnegie Foundation classifies DU as a Doctoral/Research University with high research activity.

DU also holds distinction from the Carnegie Foundation as an engaged university, dedicated to community service and engagement.

Faculty

The University of Denver employs 523 appointed faculty members and 132 full-time equivalent (FTE) adjunct faculty. All students have faculty advisors and the student-faculty ratio is 13:1.

U.S. News & World Report's annual 2006 college rankings place the University of Denver 85th among all national doctoral universities.
