The Challenge to Inspire. Our Obligation to Innovate.
The Morgridge College of Education at the University of Denver has been long recognized for its innovative community partnerships and emphasis on faculty-studentcollaboration. With a lead gift of $10 million, Carrie and John Morgridge have initiated the campaign focused on capital, endowment and current programs.
In addition to devoting funding to a new facility, their support established the Reading Recovery University Training Center, to be housed in the Institute for Early Learning and Literacy. In recognition of their generosity, the College has been named in their honor.
Joan and Mike Ruffatto committed $5 million toward the construction of the building to house the College as well as DU's Learning Effectiveness Program. The building will be named Katherine A. Ruffatto Hall, after the donors' daughter and DU alumna.
