Teacher Education/Master's Completion Program Faculty
Courses in the Teacher Education/Master's Completion Program are taught by tenure and clinical faculty in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as adjunct faculty members who represent a wide-range of professional and academic backgrounds. This includes private and public school educators, educational policy makers, K-12 curriculum specialists and consultants, professionals from non-profit educational settings and current doctoral students.
Many adjunct faculty are working professionals who bring their practical expertise
and current policy knowledge to the courses they teach. Unlike tenure and clinical
faculty, adjuncts teach on a limited basis (typically one course a year) and are generally
less engaged in the world of research, although they may be quite active leading workshops,
presenting at conferences, or consulting within their communities.
