Teacher Education/Master's Completion
The Teacher Education/Master's Completion Program students take their first 40 credits as part of the Teacher Education Program (TEP), followed by six credits in curriculum leadership and six credits in one area of concentration, or strand, in order to develop expertise in a specific area that will make them leaders in the schools in which they work.
Strand areas currently include:
- Aesthetic Education
- Literacy
- Technology
- Urban Education
- Gifted Education
- Specializations in various content areas.
Convenient class times are offered for these final 12 credit hours so that students can complete the master's degree coursework while teaching full time.
