Center for Community Engagement & Service Learning: Faculty

Service Learning Grants

Service Learning embraces the University’s vision, adopted June 2001, of being a great private university dedicated to the public good and exemplifies our mission for the 21st century to empower the lives and futures of students by fostering productive synergies between …disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives, classroom and experience-based learning (www.du.edu/upac). In support of the University’s vision of being a great private university dedicated to the public good, the Provost has set aside $50,000 to support faculty service learning initiatives.

For the 2007-2008 academic year, the CCESL has designed a new and innovative approach to these initiatives through the Service Learning Faculty Fellows Program and the Service Learning Faculty Scholars Program.
