Description of organization: The Spirituals Project is a non-profit organization, based on the University of Denver campus that includes educational programs and performing groups that seek to honor, preserve and revitalize the sacred folk songs created by enslaved African Americans in the 18th and 19th centuries. The Spirituals Project is a consciously multi-racial organization, demonstrating the belief that the spirituals are a gift from African Americans to all people. Spirituals uplift in times of crisis, heal, comfort and inspire, transforming individuals, communities and whole societies. The Spirituals Project invites all to experience the joy and power of this dynamic music and legacy from African Americans to the world.

Description of organization: Founded in 1978 Colorado Muslim Society is a non-profit religious organization with over 800 active members. We own and operate a large masjid, located at 2071 S. Parker Rd, Denver, CO 80231, where over 5000 Muslims worship on a regular basis. CMS is open for prayer five times daily and has a business office open from 9-5pm, Monday thru Friday. Friday services are held at noon and 1:15pm for sermon and worship. We are also open for group tours, classes, lectures and other events such as Open House and Eid Holiday programs throughout the year. We always welcome volunteers to help maintain the facility with landscaping, snow and trash removal and general repairs, run the business office by answering telephones, data entry and filing, and organizing programs for youth, women, and families by providing promotional and logistical support. Description of organization: Never Again! works to promote
awareness of the Holocaust and more recent genocides to fulfill the dream of "Never Again". Our purpose is to plan programming to inform the students,
faculty, and staff of the University of Denver, as well as the community at
large, about the Holocaust, the implications of hate and prejudice, and the
reoccurrence of genocide throughout the world today.
