Community Workstudy

The DU Community Work Study program offers an array of opportunities for students to earn their work study while working with a local nonprofit organization or school. Community Work Study students earn $9.75 an hour while learning valuable skills and making a difference on issues they care about. The Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning offers a variety of opportunities with dozens of organizations. Find your issue – education, environment, community development, or social justice, to name a few – and we have a position for you!

If you’re interested in applying for a Community Work Study position, simply do the following:

- Download our list of opportunities (PDF Format)

- Choose two or three that interest you

- Contact the community organizations and set up a visit

- Once you’ve found your match, contact Frank Coyne and we’ll take you through the proper paperwork

- You must contact us to let us know about your placement prior to beginning work!
