Student Opportunities
The CCESL offers a host of resources for students who are interested in getting involved:
NEW!!! Morgridge Community Scholars (.doc): The opportunity for students to take their BIG IDEA to address a social justice issue in the community and make it a reality. Includes $5000 student stipend, $1000 project funds. Click title for application.

NEW!!! Community Leader Corps (.doc) The CLC is for DU students interested in developing community-based leadership skills by working with other students and community partners around critical social justice issues. Includes $2000 student stipend, $500 project funds. Click title for application.
Service Opportunities: Short and long term opportunities with Denver non-profit agencies that serve community needs.
Community Work Study: Apply your work study to a position with a local non-profit or literacy based organization.
Service Learning Courses: Gain real-world experiential learning, engage in the community, and earn academic credit.
AmeriCorps: Financial support for students who volunteer 300 or 450 hours a year.
Student Organizations: Join a student organization dedicated to public good and social change.
Immersion Program: (Formerly Alternative Breaks) Spend a break engaged in a community learning about critical issues.
