Amnesty International

Amnesty International works to free prisoners of conscience, through letter writing and educational events on campus.

DU Volunteers

DU Volunteers is a group of students who are interested in serving the DU community as well as the greater Denver community through various service projects. Our members decide what types of projects we become involved with. There is no requirement for the club - become as involved as much or as little as you would like.

Our Goals:
To promote awareness of the benefits of service work.
To foster beneficial experiences for all members.
To positively impact the greater Denver community through service.

DU Environmental Team (DUET)

DUET works on issues on campus such as recycling and clean energy and sponsors projects and advocacy work off campus. In 2007, DUET will focus upon energy efficiency at DU and on planting trees in the off campus neighborhood.

Engaged Community Initiative (ECI)

The mission of the ECI is to provide the forum and resources necessary to engage and empower students of the University of Denver to construct a collaborative self-advocacy that prepares them for a lifetime of community leadership by:

  • building relationships and networking,
  • conducting research around common issues and concerns,
  • building leadership,
  • and taking action

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity members spend a few days each month working on home builds around the metro Denver area, and advocate for affordable housing for all.

Pioneer Partners

Pioneer Partners members tutor and mentor students at nearby University Park School each Monday and Tuesday afternoon from 3:40 - 5:15 pm.

Students for Positive Social Change (SPSC)

SPSC works on a variety of social issues including Fair Trade, opposing sweatshop labor, and advocating for Tibetan freedom.
