Schedules & Requirements
Schedules
The Schedule of Courses is maintained by the Registrar's Office.
Please note that some of the courses available at DU to fulfil your graduation requirements are offered by departments other than Engineering or Computer Science. You will find them listed under the headings for their sponsoring departments.
For example, CHEM, PHYS, and MATH courses are found under Natural Sciences and Mathematics. MATH courses are found under Mathematics (not Mathematics and Computer Science).
ENGR, ENCE, ENEE, ENME, MTSC, and COMP courses are found under Engineering and Computer Science.
General Education Requirements
First-Year English is found under Arts and Humanities - General English. Special sections are set aside for engineering students for ENGG 1111 and ENGG 1122. These meet concurrently at times with ENGR 1611 and 1621, respectively.
CREX Courses are found under Creative Expression. Note that Engineering students are required to take CREX 1216, unless special permission from the department is obtained.
AHUM 1000 courses are found under Arts and Humanities - Arts & Humanities Foundations.
SOCS 1000 courses are found under Social Sciences - Social Sciences Foundations.
CORE classes are found under All Undergraduate - CORE Curriculum in the general menu. Engineering students must take only two of these, but the two must come from different "themes." (The three themes are identified as CORE 24XX, CORE 25XX, and CORE 26XX.)
