Interdisciplinary & Partnership ProjectsThe Institute is actively seeking projects that leverage the strengths of our Faculty Associates and the departments that they represent. As we have something concrete, we'll be contacting you. We'd also be happy to support your projects with expertise in environment, sociology, economics, ethics and values, and sustainability.

Snake River Basin Sustainability Laboratory in the WorksI2E2 team members Dr. Bruce Hutton and Sharon Westmoreland have been working with our Partners, The Keystone Center and Vail Resort, Inc. to form a Sustainability Laboratory utilizing Keystone Resort as the hands-on site for building practical tools for sustainable decision-making in mountain communities. The ecosystem of the Snake River Basin is an ideal example of settings around the world facing intense pressure from transportation, social, natural resource conservation and development issues. Research, integration of the three legs of sustainability and curriculum development are key components of this laboratory. Please visit the website at http://www.snakeriversustainabilitylab.org/
