DU CAPE Helpline (formerly SASA)

(Free and confidential resource supervised by CAPE. These trained advocates will assist survivors, and any family and friends, to cope with the physical, psychological, judicial and/or legal aftermath resulting from sexual assault, stalking, or relationship violence.)

During business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), phone the office, and speak directly with a counselor or arrange to come in for a crisis session.

When the office is closed, call DU Campus Safety at 303-871-3000 and ask to speak to the Counselor on Call. A counselor on call is available free of charge 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.

Housing Resident Education (HRE)

Students living on-campus may seek assistance from HRE staff 24/7 by calling or visiting the front desk staff of their residence hall. The Desk Assistant at the front desk can help with connecting students with the necessary campus resources.
