Note: Course and Teacher
Evaluations are meant for the sole use of faculty, staff and students at the
University of Denver. For that reason, they can only be
accessed from inside the University network.
Access is through webCentral (http://webcentral.du.edu/).
the instruction sheet as a PDF.
These instructions
will assist you in locating the course, courses, and/or departmental reports in
which you are interested:
-
Go to webCentral
(from the DU homepage click on 'Faculty & Staff' then 'webCentral' or at
http://webcentral.du.edu/) and log in using your Banner ID and Passcode.
-
Click on the ‘Courses’
tab located along the top of your screen.
-
Click on ‘Course
and Teacher Evaluation Summaries’. It is one of the menu items along the
left margin of the screen. Click on 'Individual Courses and Departmental
Summaries'. (Note that you can also access the summary reports of overall
university undergraduate courses, graduate courses, and University
Undergraduate Requirements from this window as well.)
-
Step 1:
Choose your division from the drop-down menu, then click on ‘Go’.
-
Step 2:
Choose your department from the drop-down menu, then click on ‘Go’.
-
Step 3:
Choose a term from the drop-down menu, then click on ‘Go’. Note that
from here the past data can be accessed as well by clicking any available term
from the drop-down menu.
- Once
you have selected the term of interest, you will see a menu of courses.
Click on the gray button labeled with the course's CRN to the
left of the course of interest. A new window will open with
evaluation data, including a link to the form used for the evaluation.
At the top of the courses menu, you can click on ‘Departmental
Summary’ to see a departmental averages page.
(Please note, however, this feature, for the current term, will not
be available until after the paper course evaluations have been completely
scanned and posted.) From here you can link to individual course
averages as well.
-
We have
added the capability to download the departmental and individual
course averages into Excel. Instructions for doing so are
included at the site.
