Welcome DU faculty and staff! Are you planning an internal event? Before you get started, please double check that your event meets the internal event criteria outlined below:
- The event is held on the University Park Campus and coordinated by an assigned DU representative (the Event Manager). The Event Manager is a faculty or staff member, and is responsible for the planning, coordination, and onsite supervision of the event, including set-up and tear-down.
- The event is sponsored by an officially recognized DU department or organization. Payment for all rental, services, and related fees must be made through an interdepartmental budget transfer. All campus service providers will require an organization number for billing purposes.
- The event must reflect the mission of the University of Denver. Private events, such as weddings and birthday parties, are not part of the DU mission and are therefore considered external.
Most major colleges on campus have an event staff to help coordinate each unit's internal events. However, those departments that do not have an event staff are welcome to contact Conference and Event Services for assistance at 303.871.4333 or email@example.com.
