María José Mata

Since joining the CES team in 2008, María has acquired widespread experience in meeting planning, summer conference management, and wedding coordination. Currently, she oversees summer housing and conference operations for CES. She is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), and a member of VISIT Denver (Convention & Visitors Bureau) and the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International (ACCED-I).

María earned a bachelor's degree in Music and Vocal Performance from DU, and is pursuing a MBA in Marketing from DU's Daniels College of Business. She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys working with diverse groups of people.
