Learning Effectivness Program
DU offers personalized, ongoing support for students with learning disabilities or ADHD through the Learning Effectiveness Program (LEP).
One-on-one counseling
Students enrolled in the LEP are assigned an academic counselor who's experienced in working with both university education and students with learning disabilities. The counselor develops a support plan to serve each student's individual needs. Counselors meet with students regularly to help with writing skills and time management and to give general academic support.
Tutors
Students in the LEP can schedule sessions with tutors that specialize in various academic disciplines. The tutors are available throughout the day and into the evening. The cost is included in the fee for the LEP.
Spaces in the LEP are limited, so students should apply as early as they can. Students enrolled in the LEP pay a set fee above DU tuition.
