Support for Students
University-level academic work is full of challenges. At the University of Denver, we work hard to ensure you meet those challenges.
Need help getting acclimated to college life? Living with a disability? The support you need is yours for the asking.

You may not become Ernest Hemingway or Jane Austen, but you will learn how to be a better writer during your time at DU with the University Writing Program.
From the day undergraduate students arrive on campus, the support network begins. New students go through a weeklong Discoveries orientation program, and support continues throughout the first- and second-year experience.
Throughout their years at DU, students enjoy one-on-one academic advising and career counseling. Students with learning and other disabilities are served by programs structured for their needs. And the Center for Multicultural Excellence offers a range of resources for those who need help with diversity issues.
To enhance all of these services, as well as learning in general, the University maintains a high-speed computer network and the latest technology that ensures ongoing innovation.
