The Offices of Facilities Management and the University Architects need to be consulted for all space modifications, modernizations and renovations to ensure that the work a department wants to do meet all code and legal requirements and maintains University standards. The Project Managers within Facilities Management serve as a resource to departments to help determine project scope, develop cost estimates, select consultants, receive and analyze bids, award the work, monitor the contractor's performance and coordinate the department's timeline and budget.
Departments provide initial program scope and requirements by:
1) completing a Special Project Cost Estimate Request Form,
2) financial resources,
3) and a department liaison to coordinate the project with Facilities Management.
